Be Inspired

verb: fill (someone) with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative

Happy New Year! I love this time of year…time to organize the holiday gifts, clean out the closets and cupboards; out with the old and in with the new.  Give order, repurpose, donate,  start fresh.  Any resolutions this year?  A resolution is actually an action to solve a problem.  My husband always says, “Are you a person with a problem, or are you a problem solver?”  So be a problem solver…what is your solution?

I hope whatever your situation your choice action is inspiration.  It can be the solution to many problems.  It is cyclic.  Those inspired inspire others whom they come in contact with, it’s contagious.  I love how young children are continuously inspired.  They are present in their lives, full of awe, gathering inspiration and passing it on to whomever is conscious of it.

I love being inspired and I hope I am an inspiration.   In this new year it’s time to spend the time doing things that influence my imagination and make me happy.  My solution to being inspired is to do more of what I love.  The best thing I can do for my family is to model happiness, that is inspiring enough.

The solution for being inspiring is to be kind and humble and full of grace.  Easier said than done, I will admit.  But I can aspire to be honest and authentic; being genuine and in the moment definitely inspires.  I was once told that I inspire someone to greatness.  That’s something I need to do more of.

2015 The Year of Inspiration.  I like it.  And I kind of like that about myself…living to inspire. And continuously being inspired along the way.

“Our chief want is someone who will inspire us to be what we know we could be.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson
