noun: the point or place where something begins, arises or is derived

Where does it come from? That thing inside you. That drive, those ideas, “the push” that propels you. Does it move you forward or backwards?

I’m not sure. Where it comes from OR which way it’s pitching me. I am motivated, stimulated, full of ideas. To a fault. I can’t get all this stuff done in a day! A week. A month. A year… A lifetime. I am grateful for all the thoughts and ideas and projects and endeavors, they are my true intentions. My creative pursuits that I birth and they grow and spur other creative pursuits that begin and… I inevitably start to drown in all the projects. But I love each of them and I don’t want any one of them to diminish or heaven forbid leave me!

So what to do? Maybe it doesn’t matter where they come from, but more importantly where they go. How do I organize and prioritize life in order to protect my ideas and create at a level that gives me peace? I am not sure. But what I am sure of is that I am not looking backward. I am moving forward and staying open and curious which leads to a full and growing imagination. Life looks good, and I kind of like that about myself.

“Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we’re curious…and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”
Walt Disney Company

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”
Albert Einstein

Stay curious. Be imaginative. Have a GREAT weekend!
